Jenny Cook

Director of Public Forum

Jeffrey Miller

Jeffrey Miller is the Director of Speech & Debate at Marist School in Atlanta, Georgia. As a National Speech & Debate two diamond coach, Jeffrey has coached many successful students in public forum debate, policy debate, extemporaneous speaking and original oratory. In 2017, Jeffrey was named the Georgia Educator of the Year by the National Speech and Debate Association. Jeffrey has coached several students to elimination rounds at virtually every tournament his team has attended including the Tournament of Champions, NDCA National Championship and NSDA National Championship. He has coached more than 100 students to qualify for NCFL Nationals and NSDA Nationals in just the past eight years. Jeffrey has been the Curriculum Director of our Public Forum division for the past four years.

Lyndsey Oliver

Lyndsey Oliver is the Director of Speech and Debate at Columbus High School in Columbus, Georgia. Since she began coaching in 2014, she has qualified multiple teams to the TOC and NSDA Nationals. In addition, her teams have won seven state titles in Public Forum. Lyndsey currently serves on her NSDA District Committee, and has previously served on the Public Forum Wording Committee. She has taught at NDF for four years.

Ellie Singer

Ellie Singer is an assistant debate coach at the Blake School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a student, she top spoke Glenbrooks in 2015, championed it in 2016, finaled at the Tournament of Champions in 2017, and reached the semifinals of the 2017 World Schools Debating Championships with Team USA. As a coach at Blake, her students have achieved great success, including winning Glenbrooks, Badgerland, Millard North, the Tournament of Champions (twice), and reaching 3rd place at NSDA Nationals. 2020 is Ellie's first summer as an instructor at NDF.

Matthew Feng

Matthew Feng was a debate coach for Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. As a coach, he has helped teams win the Bronx Science, Harvard, Emory, and Sunvitational tournaments; final at the NSDA National Tournament; and reach elimination rounds of the Tournament of Champions. Matt has worked at NDF for five summers and attended it three times as a student.
